I didn’t plan on becoming an entrepreneur. For more than 26 years, I worked for others, learning the business from the inside and building a career I was proud of. Along the way, I started helping friends and family on the side—answering questions, explaining numbers, and just being someone they could talk to.

That’s when I began to notice something. Business owners kept coming to me after speaking with their CPA, saying they understood the tax rules but still felt confused, unsure, and even a little overwhelmed. They weren’t looking for more technical language—they were looking for clarity and reassurance.

I knew it didn’t have to be that way, and honestly, it bothered me that it was.

That’s why I started Effinity Tax & Advisory, CPA.

What we do isn’t just about preparing returns or reports. It’s about making sure you actually understand what’s happening with your business and feel confident in the decisions you’re making. We’re here all year—not just at tax time—so you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone.
